  • 1-2 years experience as a marketer in a digital media, agency, or brand environment preferred.
  • Passion for strategic storytelling, problem solving, and creating smart, appealing sales tools and solutions.
  • Must have strong writing skills. This position is required to develop and edit original written content.
  • Must be an articulate professional with excellent oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to present in high profile group environments.
  • Must have strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the company while exhibiting strong decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure multiple projects with varying timelines, needs, and approvals are completed effectively.
  • BA/BS required in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related undergrad degree.

DISH Media Sales provides advertisers with intelligent solutions to efficiently maximize exposure to desired audiences across DISH and Sling TV.

 

The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in helping to develop and execute marketing strategies that reinforce DISH Media Sales’ positioning, enhance the brand’s visibility and ultimately drive media sales revenue. He/she will create tools to support the national media sales team’s efforts and deliver strategic, thought-leader content across digital and print media.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Create strategic sales marketing solutions to support monetization efforts for all of DISH Media Sales solutions, including Linear, Addressable, Programmatic and Sling TV.
  • Ideate and produce materials (presentations, one-sheets, client communications, etc.) to equip the sales force with tools that articulate the DISH Media Sales value proposition effectively, and with high impact.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams as well as external data providers to create data-driven stories for top advertising categories resulting in optimized revenue for DISH Media Sales.
  • Curate and edit content featured across print and digital channels to position DISH Media Sales as a thought-leader in advanced advertising.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement automated sales lead processes to grow additional revenue for DISH Media Sales.
  • Periodically present materials and insights to the Sales Organization.
