Outback & Carrabba’s Express is the newest concept in the Bloomin’ Brands family.  We are comprised of two iconic brands (Outback Steakhouse & Carrabba’s Italian Grill).  We provide our customers a unique and remarkable dining experience at their convenience through delivery, takeaway, and catering.

 POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager is part of the three-member leadership team and key to delivering the Outback & Carrabba’s Express experience. The Manager works with limited supervision and is responsible for the daily operations of the entire store to include, but not limited to, store appearance and presentation, customer experience and direction to all front-of-house and heart-of-house employees. The Manager must be dependable, self-reliant and passionate about good food and exceptional customer service.

 POSITION DETAILS

  • Ensures that Principles and Beliefs are continuously taught and practiced
  • Manages all employees to maintain high employment quality standards to include, but not limited to, hiring, development, promotions, discipline and terminations
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards by adhering to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics policy
  • Ensures that all menu items are made according to recipe standards and presented in the concept manner
  • Adheres to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs to include, but not limited to, food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
  • Ensures that safety and sanitary practices, maintenance and regulatory compliance are followed
  • Assists the General Manager in overseeing store administrative requirements
  • Ensures that proper security procedures are in place and followed to protect employees, customers and company assets.
  • Monitors adherence to delivery trade area to exceed customer expectations for delivery times, food quality and the safety and security of delivery drivers.
  • Showcases our exceptional level of hospitality when customers call, enter our store, and through delivery service
  • Works with the General Manager to develop initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts; maintains effective cost controls in support of these initiatives
  • Provides active community involvement with a strong presence at events, clubs and organizations
  • Any other duties as assigned

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant management experience
  • Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be legal to work in the United States
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Minimum age 21 years

 PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Two (2) year degree in a relevant field (e.g. Hotel/Restaurant Management) 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
