JOB DESCRIPTION Client Account Specialist We are currently looking for a Client Account Specialist who will provide excellent customer service, serving as the first point of contact for all walk-in clients. He/she must be able to accurately assess customer signage needs and utilize his/her knowledge to suggest solutions and create quotes. This position also involves intense in-house marketing and requires telemarketing as a primary function. Must be a self-motivator and take pride in the Signarama brand at all times, supporting the Owner. The ideal candidate for this position has proficient computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with POS/QuickBooks/Accounting systems. He/she must have fluent English speaking and writing skills and strong mastery of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading rules. In addition, he/she must have a good understanding of basic sales and telemarketing tactics and excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous sales and/or telemarketing experience is a plus. Sample Daily Schedule 8:30--9:00am Morning meeting with team 9:00--9:30am Return calls/messages from previous day 9:30--12:00pm PR/Telemarketing activities, goal of 30+/day with 5-10 quotes captured, contact input 12:00--1:00pm Lunch 1:00--4:30pm PR/Telemarkeing, product familiarization, creation of quotes with email activities 4:30--5:00pm Mailing activities 5:00--5:30pm Review day's activities with the Owner and program for the next day Compensation $9+/hr DOE, with bonuses for commission on sales made after meeting benchmark sales goals, and potential for growth to a Marketing Managerial position for the right candidate. RESPONSIBILITIES * Responds efficiently to all walk-in customers and telephone inquiries to determine sign needs, provide recommendations and quotes, and help with the order process * Executes in-house direct mailings (networking groups, clubs/organizations/associations, and no activity members) * Works closely with the Production Area to answer any questions they may have concerning current work orders * Maintains a good working relationship with vendors to obtain quotes and best pricing, and to follow up on orders in process * Makes telemarketing calls to generate new business and maintains and updates lists of prospective customers and referrals * Makes calls to direct mail recipients, existing customers and new business listings. * Supports owner at all times, handling all paperwork and generating POS accounting reports as requested * Obtains referrals, enters all information into the POS/Accounting system, and provides follow up with all referrals in a systematic/organized fashion * Cross trains in other areas of the store to maintain a fully functional staff at all times * Maintains an organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times * Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma required * Previous sales and/or telemarketing experience a must * Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite * Fluent English speaking and writing skills * Spelling, grammar, punctuation competencies. * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written * Strong customer service skills and abilities * Outstanding phone skills * Prompt, reliable, and responsible with evident self-motivation * Strong interpersonal and networking skills * Able to stand on feet for long periods of time * Able to operate a computer and monitor for long periods of time BENEFITS * Excellent Advancement Opportunities * 3 holidays off per year * No weekends * Business Cards * Performance Bonus
