About the Job

Responsible for supplier management and interface with four external Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) who manage the Shipping (including Central Shipping Facility), Receiving, Mailroom and Records Retention across North Texas sites (Dallas campus and Sherman). Work with internal partners to meet their needs for cost reductions, process improvements and 5S initiatives. Work with global team members (including One Make Cost team) to establish and fan out Global Best Practices for Receiving Docks and Shipping. Manage the cost center budgets for areas assigned. As required, monitors the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned contracts to maximize operational execution, service level and quality at best value. Use WPL supplier performance management process (CETRAQ) to manage critical suppliers and improve performance.

Responsibilities include:
Management of all shipping&receiving activities in North Texas (including operational interactions with LSP)
Management of the CSF (Central Shipping Facility) operations (including operational interactions with LSP)
o Investigate and develop ROI for Single Plant concept
o Leading cross-functional teams to reduce the total cost of shipping wafers from Fabs to A/Ts and to standardize wafer packing solutions (ex: global deployment of new air bladders for 200mm wafers)
Logistics focal point working with Corporate Accounting and Trade Compliance to improve the Miscellaneous Shipments process
Reducing transactional workload and cycle time through 5S implementation
Working with global logistics team members (including One Make Cost team) to align on Global Best Practices
Management of Mailroom and Records Retention services provides across North Texas sites (Dallas campus and Sherman)
Working with LSPs to achieve step function improvement in their performance

Minimum requirements
The successful candidate must have a minimum of a BS or BBA degree or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Must possess a solid foundation of TI business processes, finance and logistics operations, along with strong skills in data mining and analysis. Strong supplier and project management skills are required. Strong communication skills (oral and written), both to internal customers and management, are required. Good customer focus, problem-solving and positive attitude to drive changes and to propose innovative solutions and the ability to provide closed-loop communication to internal partners, manage complex situations, and prioritize multiple projects are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and good knowledge of SAP.

Preferred qualifications
Leadership&strategic thinking capability will be a differentiator. Experiences with TI shipping and receiving systems are beneficial and the candidate must be comfortable leading and participating in global teams. APICS or CSCMP certification(s) and experience with 5S methodology and/or Lean will be a plus.
Special work environment
Must be willing to travel domestically within the US and especially within Texas (Dallas campus, Sherman) in support of WPL priorities, strategies, and goals. Must be able to accommodate regularly scheduled global calls and interactions with global team members.
