Robert Half Technology is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format to support the work of a company in the Advertising field. If you are a problem solver who enjoys working in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the position for you. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a full-time opportunity, is located in the Chicago, Illinois, area. Major responsibilities - Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals - Trace equipment inventory and team up on potential purchases - Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Offer computer desktop support to local remote locations in accordance with established policies and procedures - hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors - Lead and execute technology implementation projects - Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions - Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Experience using and troubleshooting Windows 7-10 and Mac OSX Understanding of how the network, servers, domain controllers, databases, and software deployments work Basic- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory Ability to trouble shoot hardware, operating systems, and applications Understanding of Office 365, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe Suite Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to prioritize to ensure assignments are completed in a timely manner Strong Organizational skills and the ability to follow procedures Bachelor's Degree preferred
