Job Description: Responsible for assisting the Service Manager in the effective operation of the service center to include; sales, productivity and profitability. Job Duties: * Assist Service Manager in the effective daily operation of the service department * Ensure the satisfactory application of customer service standards and customer satisfaction programs. * Ensure satisfactory maintenance, appearance and condition of assigned facilities to comply with security, safety, and environmental codes and ordinances * Ensuring strict compliance with the service Code of Ethics and all municipal, state, and federal regulations and procedures pertaining to the operation of the service center. * Ensure professional, timely communication to all customers * Perform any other functions as required by the Service Manager Job Requirements: * Strong people management and leadership skills, motivational, supportive, assertive and decisive * Toyota Certification is a great advantage! * Reynolds and Reynolds knowledge is a big PLUS! * Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred * Minimum of 2 years in service department * Must have at least a high school diploma/GED * Excellent verbal and written communication (Speaking Spanish is a plus) * Strong organization and time management skills * A comprehensive understanding of the automotive service and the industry Ability to identify the problem quickly. * Good people skills. * Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills. * Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
