SUMMARY: Waxing the City in the Denver Tech Center is looking to hire a client-focused Front Desk Studio Coordinator to join our team. Hours: About 25 hours a week, must be flexible Location: 6760 E Chenango Ave, Denver, CO 80237 Compensation: $10-12 / hour depending on experience, plus commissions on membership sales Waxing the City offers a full line of facial and body waxing services for both men and women. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Studio Coordinator is responsible for opening and closing the studio, as well as all front desk operations. As the first and last interaction for clients, it is essential to create an environment of friendliness, warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. This is a critical role within the studio! The Studio Coordinator may be expected to work nights and weekends, and is also expected to help cover shifts in short-notice/emergency situations (sickness, etc.). Essential functions include: * Greet clients as they arrive at the studio, making sure they feel comfortable, and answering all of their inquiries about types of services, products for sale, and scheduling * Check clients in and out through our POS system * Answer phones and respond to subsequent inquiries and appointment bookings * Call clients to reschedule appointments as needed * Constant communication with waxing specialists about late clients, early clients, and other client issues * Develop knowledge of waxing services and products available to give useful advice to clients and to sell them products * Monitor and renew product inventory levels; ensure that front of studio (retail area) product displays are properly stocked and organized * Maintain a clean and professional environment, including daily cleaning checklists and other cleaning duties as needed * Other duties as assigned by management OUR VALUES: We pride ourselves not only on the quality of our service, but also our culture and our values.
