Data Coordinator

POSITIONSUMMARY:

The Data Coordinator supports the Marketingand Business Development team in reviewing the firm s data and ensuring ourclient information is accurate and captured in our systems in an efficientmanner. The Coordinator will prepare andprovide ad hoc reports for all departments to aid in the firm s businessdecisions. He/she will also be the primary internal trainer for staff on CRMand other software programs used by the firm. The Data Coordinator reports tothe Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

  • Serves the firm as an experiencedMicrosoft Dynamic CRM super-user
  • Assists in the collection,organization, and analysis of data used to increase firm efficiencies
  • Inputs data, summaries, and matrices inthe firm s databases and software applications
  • Manages the data cleanup process, andenforces data quality standards
  • Analyzes data and prepares reports, asrequired
  • Researches leads and new businessopportunities
  • Performs Internet-based research asrequired
  • Conducts training and workshops forstaff and consultants
  • Documents and maintains trainingmaterials and firm policies and procedures


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including building views and reports
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience conducting Internet-based research and data collection
  • Ability to prioritize workload in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and new business opportunities, exercise sound judgment and independent decision making, and balance multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Self-direction, diplomacy and a clear, courteous, and professional manner in dealing with colleagues and clients
  • Degree or experience in Library Sciences or Management Information Systems
