With nearly 7,000 people in 100 offices across the U.S., we partner with our clients to help communities prosper. wsp.com.WSP USA is seeking a Regional Director of Design Build for the Central and Northeast United States with experience in procurement of transit, highway, and infrastructure projects using Alternative Delivery methods (P3, DB, CM/GC).This individual will be assigned to alternative delivery pursuits and projects as the Principal in Charge (PIC) providing local focus, direction and leadership to the Client while partnering closely with our Alternative Delivery Group, Technical Excellence Centers (TECs), senior technical personnel, and the relevant Regional/Area leadership reflective of the project s location.Most projects will involve local governmental agencies, improvement districts or state DOT s. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Coordinate with internal and external clients
• Represent WSP USA s alternative delivery capabilities in assigned locations, markets, and at industry associations.
• Implement effective marketing activities to achieve stronger net revenue growth
• Lead alternative delivery proposal preparation and business development activities
• Create effective long-term client/contractor relationships
• Provide support and direction to develop Alternative Delivery Design Manager and Key Personnel bench strength
• Provide oversight/support of design efforts for transportation and infrastructure projects and pursuits using Alternative Delivery procurement methods from pre-award through contract close-out.
• In conjunction with TECs and operations management, plan, schedule, coordinate and determine staffing levels and assignments needed for pursuits and projects
• With operations personnel monitor and maintain schedule, budget, quality, and profitability of assigned projects
• Participate in and complete ad hoc assignments as needs arise

Location: The candidate will be housed in one of WPS USA s major Central Region office locations and they must be available and willing to travel extensively to project/pursuit locations. Reporting: This candidate will report to the Director of Design Build.



The ideal candidate will have proven success in team development for the procurement and delivery of DB or P3 projects, a Bachelor s degree and a minimum of 25 years of experience in a marketing and/or technical field (or combination thereof). Managerial experience is required and strong relationships with Alternative Delivery project Owners and Clients is desired.This person must be capable of:

• Demonstrating creativity, foresight, and mature judgment
• Showing successful management of multiple assignments with a demonstrated commitment to quality control programs.
• Strong communications with ability to build successful teams
• Collaborating amongst various design leadership, technical disciplines, and across regional boundaries
• Proactive approach to project leadership including personal ownership of the project s timeline, quality, and financial success
• Strategic vision to position our firm as the pre-eminent designer for Alternative Delivery teams
