Job Title: Service BDC Customer Care Specialist SUMMARY: Service BDC Customer Care Specialist reports directly to the Customer Experience Manager. Interact with customers in the service department and/or other BDC prospects via phone or internet. Primary objective is to interview service department prospects and schedule appointments or arrange an immediate T.O. to a Service advisor or professional. ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following: Promote and seek out opportunities to deliver the Ultimate Automotive Experience. Interact with customer s to identify their individual needs and identify opportunities for required and recommended maintenance via the GM Global Connect Service Workbench Maintenance Menu. Investigate customer s vehicle history and notify guest of any open recalls for their VIN using GM Global Connect Consultant dashboard. Work closely with the Customer Experience Manager and other BDC service personnel to insure service lead opportunities are accounted for and appropriate notes are made in the CRM. Complete phone calls as assigned by the Customer Experience Manager. Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, special policies and recalls etc., and their benefits to customers. Attend product and sales/service training as requested by BDC. Attend BDC Service meetings. Maintain professional appearance. MARGINAL DUTIES: Other duties may be assigned.
