Senior Helpers is a non-medical in-home care company with a philosophy of helping seniors to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Our caregivers make this possible by providing services such as meal prep, light housekeeping, running errands, and assistance with bathing/dressing.
Although we work in parts or all of 16 counties, we are a close knit company and strive to maintain a TEAMWORK attitude. Caregiver Primary Responsibilities:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping
- Household management
- Walking assistance
- Eating assistance
- Errands
- Transportation using clients vehicle or caregiver vehicle
- Meal planning and preparation
- Laundry and linen changing
- Bathing assistance
- Dressing assistance
- Toileting
- Medication reminders
- Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients
In sleep-over situations:
- Assist client to and from bed
- Assist client throughout the night
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent GED
Must be 21 years of age or older
Current, Valid Driver s License and Automobile Insurance REQUIRED
Dependable transportation
Experience in home care or related field preferred
CNA, HHA is a plus, but not required
Companion and Personal Caregiver: $9 - $9.50/hour
Certified Home Health Aide/CNA: $12/hour
Overnights: $72.50 Flat Rate (ability to sleep)
