We are looking for a sharp, motivated, and fun-to-be-around Windows Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The major technologies that you'll be working with include Windows 7-10 PC s (with a few XP s thrown in at random), all of the usual and some of the not-so-usual applications and peripherals, supporting network connectivity (Wired, WiFi, and VPN), Office 365 and some server roles, and most important of them all, delivering excellent customer care and support. At Tabush Group, we view our desktop support team as equals to our network support team; while the network team deals with servers and other in the closet technologies, the desktop team deals with people and their needs, which can sometimes be even more challenging. That s why we believe in hiring only the best people for our team, and treating them right. Some of the main responsibilities of the position include: * Handling client support tickets and meeting SLA s * Determining root cause of issues and applying preventative fixes * Educating clients on how to better utilize their systems and avoid problems * Making recommendations for improvements and changes in client environments * Working with third party vendors and partners to resolve client issues * Participating in after-hours on-call rotation schedule * Creating & maintaining documentation on client systems & processes Minimum 3 years in IT support is required, and experience in Managed Services is a big plus. Candidates must be team players with excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to self-manage assignments and responsibilities, multi-task, and show initiative.
