Server--MUST BE FLEXIBLE--WE ARE OPEN LATE ON WEEKENDS! The server will be responsible for the service of all food and beverage items to the guests in a prompt, efficient and above all, friendly and courteous manner. They will maintain a high level of service, ensuring that all products served meet Rosati's Pizza specifications. The server will also assist in the cleanliness and organization of the pub and service areas. Previous Server experience is highly desired. Responsibilities * Positive guest interaction * Serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner * Attentive to guest needs * Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks. * Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and stock * Suggesting menu items, drink selections, informing guests about food preparation. * Communicate specific guest needs/requests to cooks * Refill glasses, removing plates, offering desserts * Obtain payment, issue receipts, return change * Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the manager. * Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. * Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. * Inform customers of daily specials. * Roll silverware, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties. * Greeting, seating, and thanking guests * Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom. * Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee. * Practices responsible selling and service of alcohol at all times as mandated by the respected licensing authorities * Ensures the guests benefit from ongoing and upcoming promotions by staying abreast and helping in the implementation and new promotions * The ability to up-sell is a HUGE plus * Proper practices must be in place to ensure food safety. * Controlling time and temperature throughout the flow of food, practicing good personal hygiene and preventing cross-contamination Qualifications * Must be dependable * Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently. * Must be able to work various shifts per week * Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs * Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time * Minimum Age 18/19 years old (depending on the state requirement of the legal age to serve alcohol) * Cooperation, communication and team work are essential traits for our team * Maintains a professional image and proper uniform standards while performing job related tasks FOH Counter The counter employee must be able to multitask and pay attention to detail. He or she will be answering high-volume calls, inputting orders, greeting guests and taking payments. Experience working with a POS system in the restaurant industry is preferred. Responsibilities * Greet guests and provide them with menu information * Take customer orders via phone and carryout area * Process orders in a timely fashion * Total bill and accept payment * Work counter and cash drawer * Stocking * Communicate with kitchen personnel * Ensure all items are prepared and served accurately * Serve food and beverages according to standard policies and procedures * Complete opening, midday, and close side duties as assigned Qualifications * Must be customer service orientated * Happy, upbeat and polite * Possess the ability to upsell * Take initiative with responsibilities
