If the Delivery Associates finish their work early and see we are still working, they pitch in and help and the same is true for all of us it is really motivating to have this much camaraderie.\" Kirke, Furniture Prep & Assembly AssociateAbout our Furniture Prep & Assembly Associates:Our Furniture Merchandise Quality Associates work within our Delivery Centers to pull, inspect, assemble and prepare furniture for the delivery team. They are responsible for ensuring Room & Board customers receive furniture, representative of the high-quality products they saw in our showroom or online.Our Furniture Merchandise Quality Associates enjoy working with their hands and using a variety of small power tools to prepare and assemble the furniture.While many of our Furniture Merchandise Quality Associates come to us with an interest in home furnishings, others do not, yet quickly find they enjoy working with beautiful, handcrafted furniture.Our Furniture Merchandise Quality Associates strengths include:
  • Building strong relationships with their delivery partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Being self-driven and focused throughout the day.
  • Paying attention to fine details while working with solid wood and other natural materials.
  • Problem solving in a variety of situations.
  • Working productively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.Position requirements:
    • This is a physically-demanding role. Furniture Merchandise Quality Associates must be able to repeatedly lift 75-100 pounds independently throughout their day.
    • Pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical and physical abilities test.
    • Must practice safe working habits.Hours:
      • Our Furniture Merchandise Quality Associates will work either a Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 3pm or a Tuesday - Saturday schedule (6:30am - 3pm Tuesday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm Saturday)We offer:
