The Body Shop Estimator provides World Class Customer Service Experience to all customers on the phone, in person and throughout the entire repair process. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the repair process from the point of drop-off through the delivery of the completed vehicle and is responsible for coordinating communications with all other (internal & external) stakeholders for the repair. Job Responsibilities: Continuous sales and relationship building with insurance companies and body shops Inspect physical damage of vehicles to determine feasibility of PDR repairs and appropriate replace/repair techniques Assist repair facilities in achieving scheduling and repair goals through maintaining established productivity standards Estimate all drive in appointments Complete process review with customer Repair Orders: all files are opened with compliance, including obtaining proper authorizations Prepare and complete proper paperwork for final customer packet prior to vehicle delivery Post repair plan documentation Provide post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates Total loss administration Comply with all safety rules, guidelines and standards Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring outstanding customer service experience Requirements: Strong negotiating and communication skills for providing client service and maintaining effective working relationships Minimum of 1 year experience Automotive Industry and/or minimum 1 year experience as an Auto Physical Damage Estimator or equivalent job experience Excellent computer skills including knowledge of software estimating technologies Previous experience with insurance company relations, preferred Must have previous experience in a high volume shop Working knowledge of DRP programs Working estimating knowledge, including systems Strong sales orientation Must have a valid driver s license and be eligible for coverage under Toyota of Orlando s insurance policy Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check Ability to effectively communicate with others, verbal and written Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates and work orders Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management and adapts easily to a fast-paced environment Personable, friendly demeanor with an outstanding customer service approach with internal and external customers Well groomed, professional appearance Strong administrative skills Must be able to stand for extended periods of time during the disassembly/estimating of a vehicle Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds In return for your invaluable knowledge, skills, talent and ambition, Toyota of Orlando offers competitive salaries and benefits.
