  • Must know Adobe InDesign, and the basics of Photoshop
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to proofread and do basic copy writing
  • Experience with merges (mail merge, data merge) a major plus
  • Ability to design around technical specifications such as project layout of columns, bleeds, gutters etc.
  • Coachable and a fast learner
  • Reliable and committed to working with integrityJob responsibilities include the design of book intros according to strict specifications, photo cleanup, proofreading client supplied text, and other duties as assigned. The Junior Designer will report to the Director of Production, but take direction from the Lead Production Designer.For more than 30 years, Publishing Concepts has published alumni directories for top-tier colleges, universities, and associations, including Harvard, Princeton, and Texas A&M.
