Machine Operator

We are looking for candidates that have 3-4 years in Food Production. Pro Staff has multiple positions available in the Chicago and Cicero area for batch makers, packaging machine operators and general labor workers. Employees will be responsible for packaging food supplies, feeding machines with product, keeping inventory counts and sanitation. Candidates are encouraged to have experience operating machines, picking/packing and maintain the facility clean. The hours of these positions are 12 hours shifts with overtime opportunities. We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available. Pay rates for these positions are between $13- $14/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking/packing orders using RF scanners
• Operating packaging machine daily
• Conduct quality control and separating good/bad pieces
• Keeping inventory counts
• Make minor adjustments to machines
• Feed product of conveyors and unload packaged product
• follow recipes to ensure batches are made correctly

• 3-4 in food production is required
• Basic machine operating experience
• Sanitation experience is a plus
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
