Test Prep Tutors (Henrico) - Full-time / Part-time

The SAT has been redesigned for 2016 and we're looking for people to work with students to master this new exam. We offer One-on-One and small group tutoring classes. Tutor Doctor is looking for tutors for Spring & Summer work. Tutoring involves clarifying and teaching subject matter, as well as assessing the student knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis. Applicants with Math & Science backgrounds are encouraged to apply! We are also interested in tutors with expertise in elementary education subjects from Kindergarten to 12th grade including Middle and High school programs such as English, Mathematics, Calculus, Algebra, sciences and languages including Spanish and French Qualifications: - Formal background preferred (i.e. certified teachers, grad students, skilled professionals, retirees), but will consider other high performing applicants - Previous tutoring or teaching experience not necessary - Access to reliable transportation Personal Skills: - Excellent interpersonal/rapport building skills - Open to new ideas & learning strategies - Dependable & responsible - Professional & courteous - Quick learner - Flexible
