Warehouse Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Job Title: Warehouse Manager Reports To: Warehouse Director Summary: The warehouse manager is responsible for organizing the warehouse in a safe efficient manner. This is accomplished through the management of tasks, people, products and processes. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Maintains warehouse department operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs and schedules. * Complies with OSHA; advising management on needed actions. * Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; checking for safety hazards. * Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. * Ensures employees are practicing and following processes and procedures the company has outlined. * Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. * Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * On-call 24/7 for customers/employees. * Must have a flexible schedule. Skills and Qualifications: Supervision, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Judgment Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Skills: Bi-lingual Spanish required Read, write and speak English Math aptitude Reading skills Professionalism Time management Understand and follow detailed instructions and procedures
