Our client is a world leader in laboratory equipment and services, and has an opportunity for a Sales Representative for its industry leading analytical instrumentation used in R&D laboratories. This position will be covering Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana from the Chicago area.
Responsibilities:
  • The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for direct sales of analytical instrumentation products and services to customers in various industries like academia, food, beverage, plastics, oil & gas, etc.
  • Primary responsibilities include both the effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be cable of communicating equally well with Ph.D. level scientists and QC technicians.
  • The selected candidate should possess a B.S. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or similar technical field and at least some experience in technical sales of analytical instrumentation.
  • Overnight travel.
