CNC Machinist / Quality Inspector

JOB SUMMARY: The 2nd shift CNC Machinist / Quality Technician is responsible for Setup / Operation of CNC Machines (when needed) but also all phases of the auditing process including documentation and finished samples to ensure quality parts are produced and meet customer specifications that follow print requirements prior to delivering to the customer. This position will learn to perform various testing and gauging as required by customer specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES/DAILY TASKS: 1. Performs Receiving Inspection Audit according to established guidelines by ensuring compliance to print specifications. 2. Completes First Article Inspection sampling to ensure print compliance prior to production run. 3. Completes Final Article Inspection of production parts prior to release for shipment. 4. Completes entry of specifications and COCs as required. 5. Performs Process Audits providing confirmation of process guidelines being performed as specified. 6. Performs specialty testing per customer requirements. 7. Performs clerical duties such as filing or typing of reports. 8. Provides other assistance to the Director of Quality such as project work or investigation into root cause analysis. 9. Works proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company. 10. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and safety rules. 11. performs all duties according to established safety policy, including wearing PPEs 12. CNC Set up & Operation as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: * Good computer skills. * Good problem solving skills. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Good communication skills. * Ability to work in team environment. * Ability to work with little supervision. * Good attendance record. * Good mathematical ability, including good understanding of measurements and gaging practices
