Experienced Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Grindstaff Auto has had the privilege of serving the Elizabethton community for the past 30 years. As a family owned and operated business, earning the trust of our customers, employees and community is what drives us to be better. Our new state-of-the-art facility gives us the necessary tools to serve our customers and employees at a higher standard. We are seeking a motivated and hard working Service Technician to join our team! Responsibilities: * Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership * Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Requirements: * Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician * Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance * Are a fast learner * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills * Have excellent customer service skills * Are a team player * Are computer literate * Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Have a valid driver s license * Have a High School Diploma
