What you ll be doing:
The Label Technician ensures that our product labeling accurately reflects each product's ingredients, including known allergens, and nutritional information. You will maintain updated spreadsheets of packaging artwork files, finished product list, raw materials and suppliers. In addition, you will respond to site, commercial and customer inquiries, complete customer documents/forms, and upload information to customer-owned databases. Internally to Greencore, you will provide assistance to technical teams and manufacturing sites across the US division to ensure requirements for 3rd party and/or customer audits are met. The Label Technician also works with the HOI/NPD Project Manager on the implementation of plans reflecting appropriate customer and factory requirements and time frames.
Other responsibilities of the position are as follows:
* Enters supplier specs into Genesis (ingredients, nutritional)
* Communicates back to the developer changes that are needed to meet nutritional goals (if nutritional targets are set).
* Manages UPC creation with IT, Sales & Marketing inputs.
* Creates all LVF forms.
* Sends LVF forms to the label companies for respective sites.
* Receives proofs, coordinates sign off with QC, Marketing, customers.
* Manages this portion of the stage gate in Stage 3.
* Coordinates label set up with sites when printing.
* Manages the US labeling.
