CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR) - Vincennes, Indiana competitive hourly base pay with sales commission and store bonus opportunities, full time: 40 hour work week, paid personal time off available after six months Primary Responsibilities: * the acquisition and maintenance of customers * sales: assisting customers on the showroom floor and over the phone * processing current customers' payments * processing order forms * data entry: inputting new customer order forms and updating current customers' information * answering telephone and routing call to appropriate personnel within the store * filing customer folders and maintaining customer records * maintaining the appearance and organization of the customer transaction counter * assisting in the maintenance of the showroom: organizing, cleaning (light), merchandising, pricing * daily marketing: door hanging, calls to existing and prospective customers, business-to-business * other tasks as assigned by management Characteristics of a successful candidate: * sales-oriented * exceptional interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette * 21 years of age, or older * organization * professional appearance * good communication skills * computer operations: data entry and in-house system navigation * ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and up to 300 pounds with assistance of additional personnel and floor dollies * pre-employment reference check and verification, drug screen, and criminal background investigation required
