Journeyman Electrician

IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR JOURNEYMAN SERVICE TECHNICIAN (minimum 3 years experience) The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installation/troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems in the residential and commercial marketplace. First and foremost, he/sheis accountable for performing all tasks with strict adherence to safety policies and procedures and according to National Electrical Code Requirements. He/She reviews specifications from drawings/blueprints, plans the installation or repair, determines layout, constructs the deliverable, and tests to ensure system integrity. The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma (or GED), a current Journeyman's card, 4 years of recent experience (highly desired), a current and unrestricted driver's license, a professional-grade set of tools and equipment, and a willingness to accept accountability for high quality service levels and client satisfaction. Computer and technological savvy, as well estimate and invoice on a iPad Tablet PC. Responsibilities * Learning and upholding our code of values. * Collecting payment for services rendered to our customers. * Providing information on what Mr Electric of Columbia can provide to our customer. * Completing electrical work with craftsmanship and pride according to the NEC and SC amendments to the NEC. * Giving estimates. * Communicating with customers. * Clean and pressed uniform. * Driving and caring for a service van. Qualifications * Must have a clean driving record. * Must be able to pass a drug test. * Must be able to pass a background check. * References. * A state issued driving license. * A state issued electrical license.
