Weld/Assembly Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Produces parts that are acceptable by Genesee quality standards, and in accordance with the customer prints and specifications. * Completes all required paperwork and inspections. * Monitors own performance in relation to rates stated on work orders and goals specified by supervision. * Keeps group leader/supervisor informed of any repairs or maintenance needed to ensure that machinery and equipment are in good operating condition. * Keeps work area clean and orderly. * Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent, but experience may count toward education. * Some previous assembly, production line, hardware insertion machine operation, or other similar work experience preferred. Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: * Good eye hand coordination. * Basic math skills * Commitment to excellence. * Requires basic manufacturing skills
