Call Center Representative Bloomington , IL POSITION PURPOSE: Provides service to patient s requests courteously and professionally. Perform accurate and timely data entry. Process data and paperwork neatly and accurately. Gailey Eye Clinic is committed to providing each patient with the highest quality eye care. This position plays an integral role in accomplishing this goal by utilizing a broad range of skills related to the customer service and administrative functions of the department. POSITION: Patient Support Representative WORK HOURS: Full-time, Non-Exempt OFFICE LOCATION: Bloomington, IL ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate telephone switchboard & in-bound calls regarding and determining nature and purpose of call, and direct to specific destinations. * Provide support and advice to patients of Gailey Eye Clinic and satellite locations, Bloomington Eye Institute, Gailey Eye Surgery. * Following approved clinic guidelines to provide general health information. * Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, exams or medical consultations. * Obtains insurance and demographic data and updates information in computer system. * Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications. * Compile and record correspondence using personal computer. * Hear, resolve, and maintain patient relationships by handling questions and concerns with compassion and professionalism in a timely manner. * Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information. * Follows all Security and Compliance regulations and requirements.
