We have immediate openings for Caregivers (HWSC Personal Assistants)
HomeWell provides hourly personal care, companionship and homemaker services for seniors so they can remain in the comfort of their own homes.
What we are looking for
We need experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregivers for placement throughout the Portland Metro area. We are hiring day and night shifts, both full-time and part-time. Shifts can range from 3-12 hour shifts. Starting pay is between $11.75 to $14.00 per hour (DOE)

Caregiver / Personal Assistant Job Description
The Caregiver/Personal Assistant is responsible for assisting client s with the tasks of daily living as outlined in a written care plan that is established by the Care Manager and is kept in the client s home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Companionship
Meal Preparation and Service
Housekeeping
Medication Reminders
Personal Care
Dementia and Alzheimer s Care
Standby Assistance/ transferring
Making a positive difference in the client s daily life
Alerting the administrative staff of client concerns, changes in care or client condition and client emergencies
Reporting to work on time
Representing HomeWell Senior Care in a professional manner
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
1,000 hours of long-term care with geriatric or chronically ill persons (exceptions to this are for persons who will only be providing companionship care)
Verifiable work and professional references
Pass a criminal background check
Valid Driver s License or Identification
Are mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
Be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly
Portland Metro Area
