If you answered yes to all of these questions, you are exactly who we are looking for to join our team of professional pet care providers in the Downtown area. We are a locally owned and operated company with over 20 years of combined experience. Our clients expect the highest quality of care for their furry family members and we go the extra mile to make sure that everyone is overjoyed with the service that they receive. Currently we are looking for individuals who live downtown (or nearby in neighborhoods such as Queen Anne, Magnolia or Capitol Hill) to help with both midday walks and runs during the week (the prime hours for our clients tends to be 10am-3pm) as well as overnights and drop in morning and evening pet sit visits (usually in the 7-9am and 5-9pm windows). We have part time routes available with the opportunity to increase to full time if desired. Our company covers the entire Seattle region from White Center to Northgate as well as parts of Bellevue and Kirkland with over 15 animal lovers providing everything from quick potty breaks to our all inclusive overnight service providing full care throughout the day and staying the night in the client's home. We are looking for people who are comfortable working independently with the support of an entire team. This industry has occasional last minute schedule changes so some flexibility and a sense of humor are essential. Responsibilities: * Work weekdays, weekends and holidays, as stays vary based on client needs * Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 15 - 60 minutes each) * Walk pets as required * Feed pets * Check that pets have ample water supply and refill as necessary * Make sure no damage caused by pets in the absence of their owners * Communicate with clients and with management during visits. * Appropriate pet clean-up as required (i.e. kitty litter scooping when sitting for a cat) Requirements and Qualifications: * Have your own, reliable car and insurance to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role * Own a smart phone with text, photo, web and gps capability * Must be compassionate about animals * Feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals * Extremely detail oriented * Responsible, reliable, and dependable * Must be timely and punctual * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * At least 3 years of customer service work experience * Pass criminal background check If this sounds like the perfect job, we look forward to hearing from you!
