We are in search of Direct Care Aide's to provide care and support for our clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. An employee in this class is responsible for the specialized care of residents who are developmentally disabled.

Responsibilities include:

Providing individualized care under professional direction, activities of daily living, including proper maintenance of living area, and guiding residents in individualized program plans and leisure activities.

Work performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of Assistant House Manager, House Manager, Shift Supervisor and Residential Services Director, who review results through daily observation of activities in progress, residents' responsiveness, inspection of living areas, reports and periodic meetings.

Following a designated shift routine as outlined by the Supervisor.

Job requirements:

Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Child Abuse clearances.
Copy of updated Physical.
Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray.
Reliable transportation.
