We Have an Immediate Need for a Weekend on Call Caregiver
Work with Home Care Assistance and Change the Way the World Ages
Job Description:
1. Provide coverage as a caregiver to clients for emergency staffing needs.
2. Depending on the client s needs, the following responsibilities will be assigned and may change as the client s needs change
o a. Serve food to clients following their prescribed diet and Balanced Care Method Conduct basic errands such as shopping
o b. Provide companionship to clients in a caring manner
o c. Provide transportation services while serving as a guide, companion and aide
o d. Maintain a detailed record of services provided and client s current condition
o e. Assist clients with ADL's, which includes dressing, bathing,
grooming, toileting, and transfers
3. Report to the office on Saturdays if there are no clients assigned
4. Assist with office duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid California driver's license
Must have a reliable vehicle
Must be computer savvy
Must have at least 1 year previous caregiving experience
Must be able to assist with transfers/lifting
Must be flexible and must have a positive attitude
Must have recent TB clearance
Must be able to register to the Home Care Aid Registry
Must be able to pass a DOJ/FBI clearance
