Caregiver (Part-time)

Family Matters In-Home Care is looking to hire a caregiver to join our team! You will be assisting in the care of an elderly male client in Woodside.

Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9 am to 1 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist client with daily living activities; such as personal care, stand by assistance when showering and dressing
• Help around the home with some light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Assist client with medication reminders and physical therapy exercises
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to family and care management team
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and comfortable living environment for the client

Qualifications:

• Previous paid experience caregiving or in a related field; facility experience a huge plus!
• Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor
• Registration with the State of California as a Home Care Aid (we can provide assistance registering if needed)
• Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check
• Must be willing to take a TB test or have a cleared TB test that was taken within the past 90 days
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
