Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer.

Here is what you will do:

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, oversight, and ongoing management of the wired and wireless networks of the hospital organization. Your primary goals as the Network Engineer are ensuring excellent functionality, performance, reliability, security, fault-tolerance, and operational continuity of the hospital's networks, and all of the IT-dependent business functions for which they exist. You will work with other IT technical resources to support voice and telecommunications related technical problems and services. You will configure and troubleshoot desktop applications and upgrades such as MS Office and Ciscotelecommunications infrastructure. You will also Install and configure desktop computer and peripheral hardware upgrades. You will cover new and expanding telecommunications technologies (i.e. cellular phones, smartphones, voicemail etc.) You will participate as a Subject Matter Expert in architectural and voice design reviews.Makes recommendations on existing projects to improve voice quality communications. You will communicate effectively verbally and via written forms. Additionally, you will demonstrate and maintain industry specific knowledge and judgment associated with the specific area of expertise.

Knowledge and what you will bring:

Your strong knowledge of Cisco telecommunications infrastructure, CCNA level in routing and switching VoIP CCNP Preferred. Your experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and integrated voice/video and data systems, LAN/WAN infrastructures, and protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS/VPLS, SIP and H32 will be leveraged. In addition your ability ofbuilding strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions will be welcomed. Your anticipation and balance of needs for multiple stakeholders will play into being a good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. Cisco Certified experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalys switches, Cisco ASA firewalls. Routing protocols BGP, OSPF, or EIGRP.
