Job DescriptionDirect all GSE service to ensure well-maintained vehicles, organization and tracking of the fleet and expenses within the company. Guide the fleet maintenance team to accurately maintain a wide range of Airport Service equipment including Into Plane Fueling vehicles and Ground Support Equipment. Support, direct and hold Workshop Managers responsible for an exceptional level of quality of all vehicles in the company.
Directs a preventive maintenance program to minimize cost and maximize use of equipment. The ability to maintain a safety program that will ensure all ground support equipment is maintained to the correct specifications, and all employees are current and compliant with the correct training in relation to their position. Maintain oversight of all workshops in North America Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is required.Previous experience with schematics, running equipment tests, and obtaining replacement parts is desired. Experience with record keeping such as parts inventory, fleet inventory, and preventative maintenance schedules is required. Organization and tracking of fleet expenses. Administers a testing and inspection program to determine quality, suitability, and compliance with specifications for vehicles, parts accessories, and materials. Directs a quantity and quality control program to maintain satisfactory levels of work performance. Plans, organizes, and directs the work of the duties to meet objectives with the most efficient use of personnel, facilities and equipment.
