Mau & Associates, LLP is seeking a Licensed Land surveyor Job Requirements: 5 years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D in the preparation of Certified Survey Maps, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, easement and right-of-way plans and other specialized survey projectsA high level of experience boundary and right-of-way determination
A State of Wisconsin Land Surveyor's license is preferred, but not required if candidate has sufficient qualifications to sit for the appropriate State Surveying Exam
Must have strong communications, planning, and organizational skills researching previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveysApplicant must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license Job Description: The Land Surveyor will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish. Including research, computations, drafting, client correspondence, meeting attendance and filing final documents. Individual will also be responsible to provide support to the Field Survey teams and existing professional staff. Specific responsibilities include: Draft various survey maps including Certified Survey Maps, ALTA Surveys, Plat of Surveys, Topography mapsAnalyze and drafting legal descriptionsPrepare record plats, Certified Survey Maps and Easement ExhibitsCompute property boundaries per state statutesProcess, interpret and analyze collected field dataInterpret plans and specifications in order to setup construction staking files for field stakingAttend municipal meetings for project approvalsThe candidate must possess strong leadership qualities, the ability to successfully complete projects and to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences Green Bay PressGazette.
