Otter Tail Power Company has an opening for a Land Specialist located in Fergus Falls, MN.Excellent communication and negotiating skills, working knowledge of the general operation of electric transmission, and distribution systems, plus a working knowledge of the transfer of real estate title and rights. The candidate must have excellent computer skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, self-directed time management skills, and good interpersonal relationship skills. Must be able to think independently, handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, be stress tolerant, and at times manage conflict with uncooperative landowners. A working knowledge of land survey methods, legal land surveys, county and township government operations and ordinances, and GIS is important.Otter Tail Power Company offers a competitive wage and benefit package.
