Math Tutor/Instructor _ Woodbury - Full-time / Part-time

We help students in grade 1-12 succeed in the subject of math. We teach math to students of all skill levels including gifted and struggling students. Our Mathnasium teaching constructs Make Math Make Sense and fun! Kids' attitudes change and they become excited about math and proud of their new found proficiency. We make a difference for our students because math is a critical life skill. Further, excellence in math can lead to amazing career opportunities in the STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Responsibilities: * Contributing to overall learning center operations including organization and cleaning * Managing student learning and identifying curriculum needs * Teaching math to kids 7-17 using the Mathnasium math constructs Qualifications: * Great interpersonal skills including communication and critical thinking * Good number sense and mental math ability * Mastery of math concepts through pre-calculus * Working towards or completed college degree in math, engineering or related * Completed high school with GPA > 3.0 and ACT Math > 30
