Position Summary: Nothing Bundt Cakes is a specialty bakery with a warm friendly atmosphere and a nostalgic wink to the past. We are looking for mature, friendly, outgoing, team-spirited persons to work at a fast pace in our busy environment frosting our cakes. A Froster will make frosting and frost all cakes according to NbC's standards and time guidelines including cakes available for walk-in guests, pre-ordered cakes, and marketing cakes. The Frosting position is a physically demanding role that requires good hand-strength and hand-eye coordination. The Froster will be responsible for keeping the display case fully stocked, samples readily available, and maintain appropriate par levels of additional cakes. It will be the Froster's responsibility to keep the frosting station clean, sanitized and running efficiently. As Nothing Bundt Cakes is a holiday driven business, this requires all team members to be available to work during holiday periods and weekends. This position will start as a part-time position with 15-25 hours per week with starting pay of $10/hr. Should the candidate demonstrate the desired efficiency and initiative, hours may increase. Frosters who demonstrate the correct aptitude may also cross-train in other areas of the bakery to increase hours scheduled and base wage. As we are a holiday driven business, must be able to work holidays, Saturdays and on occasion, Sundays. Requirements: * Possess a strong sense of teamwork * Ability to follow instructions * Has integrity * Takes initiative * Fits the Nothing Bundt Cakes Culture * Has the ability to work well under pressure * Has a strong sense of pride in one's work * Ability to work at a fast pace * Possess strong physical stamina * Good hand/eye coordination * Can lift 50 lbs repetitiously * Has good organizational skills * Feels the necessity to keep a clean work environment Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: * Abide by all employer policies and procedures * Uphold NbC's image and brand * Assist other departments when necessary * Keep case in retail area stocked with Bundtlets, 8 and 10 cakes, and back up sample trays * Maintain par levels in cooler for case cakes, assorted Bundtini packs and sample trays * Make frosting when amount goes below par level * Frost all cakes for same day and next day orders * Prepare packaging * Keep frosting area clean and sanitized including tables, microwave and tool bins, floors, walls and follow posted cleaning schedules * Track inventory of frosting material
