Position Summary: The Bakery Assistant Manager has full accountability for developing and maintaining an environment where there is a true commitment and focuses on the best service to our guests and highest quality standards of our products. The Assistant Manager works with and takes direction from Regional Managers on day to day operation. Requirements: * At least 5 years of retail management experience * Possess a strong sense of teamwork * Ability to follow instructions and documented guidelines * Has integrity * Takes initiative to train in all departments * Fits the Nothing Bundt Cakes Culture * Has the ability to work well under pressure * Outgoing and friendly personality * Ability to multitask while paying special attention to detail * Strong sales ability * Genuine care of others needs * Ability to work with a sense of urgency * Ability to influence team members * Must provide 3 relevant professionals references Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: * Abide by and enforce all NBC policies and procedures, provide ongoing feedback * Abide by NBC s uniform policy * Uphold NBC's image and brand * Maintain the organization & cleanliness of the bakery and adheres to health codes * Project a positive attitude * Has integrity, and will show respect & professionalism in engagement with guests and staff at all times * Maintain wait times, service and convenience & pays special attention to guest satisfaction * Consistently balance and supervise sales transactions * Interview, hire and evaluate team members * Has the ability to prioritize what needs to be done to achieve assigned goals, and capable of translating plans into specific actions for the team * Can motivate staff to achieve results with cooperation and teamwork * Capable of handling problems confidently, takes accountability * Maintain good communication between team members, owners, and the home office * Understands diligence required in daily & weekly planning, inventory and ordering * Stand-up job Be able to work on feet all day * Consistently available to work 50 - 55 hour schedule, Monday thru Saturday * Available for training & management meetings as needed, occasionally on Sunday * Lying, cheating or obfuscation will be subject to termination
