Farm Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of farm equipment maintenance planning/scheduling. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain documentation related to maintenance tasks and projects.Create a maintenance equipment work plan including preventive maintenance of Orchard equipment and servicing all motorized equipment.Responsible for electrical, PLC and Network duties.Ensure proper materials/supplies are on-site for planned equipment maintenance.Validate work order request, prioritize, plan and schedule and follow-up on accuracy of work orders.Identify vendor service for work that requires outside contractors. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Two to four years of practical experience in maintenance field, including PLC, Electrical and Network knowledge.Experience in maintenance support and understanding of maintenance related processes and procedures.Welding experience is a plus.Must have at least 2 years working experience with a Computer Maintenance management system.Must possess a Class A Driver's License.
