  • Be able to work the Schedule: Monday-Wednesday; 9am-6pm, Thursday and Friday; 6:30am-3:30pm, no weekends!

Responsibilities

Negotiate with consumers by phone to obtain secure payment arrangements in accordance with company policy, company values and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). 80%

Other duties as assigned. 5%

Share best practices on collections and negotiating techniques to support team goals. 5%

Utilize company technology to manage account queues and account documentation. 10%

Qualifications

Education:

Required: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred: Bachelor

Languages:

Required: English

Preferred: Bilingual - English / Spanish

Work Experience:

Required: 1 - 2 years customer service and/or sales PC skills.. Basic PC skills. Ability to apply basic mathematical applications.

Preferred: 1 - 2 years in collections, financial services or call center environment. Dialer or AS400 technology experience. Proficiency with MS Office.
