A fast-paced company in the financial industry is seeking a full-time Level 1 support technician. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily support needs in a desktop computing environment. This includes supporting multiple operating systems, mobile devices, networking and internet related issues, and support of various applications. The individual must possess excellent customer relation and communication skills with the ability to resolve issues in a prompt and timely manner.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide installation and support to users for all PC equipment.
  • Provide follow-up contact with the customer and inform customers of the progress of their issue(s) while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication.
  • Ability to configure and deploy iOS devices
  • Ability to configure and deploy Windows 7 & 8 machines
  • Ability to configure and deploy printers
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues
  • Work with vendors to resolve hardware operating system issues, analyze bugs in system and application software; research and test possible solutions and implement solutions.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Create documentation for procedures
  • Use ticketing system to fully detail work that has been done with clients.
