Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Citiside Properties, LLC is a growing property management company that manages residential and multifamily rental properties with a portfolio of around 500 rental units in primarily Dekalb and Fulton county. We are looking for a long term team member that is trustworthy, hard-working, an effective communicator, and efficient. Applicant must have at least 5 years experience working for a property management company as a maintenance tech for a portfolio of rental homes/apartments. The Maintenance Tech would complete day to day work orders for occupied homes as well as get the homes rent-ready after a tenant moves out. Onsite Job Skills Required: * Plumbing : Replacement or installation of faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, tubs, dishwashers and sinks. Snake or unclog toilets, sinks, tubs, and sewer lines. Replace main water lines, sewer lines, and repair leaks at water meter. * Electrical: Troubleshoot loss of power to entire house, room, or individual receptacle. Repair/replace breakers, receptacles, switches, gfci, frayed wiring, electrical components of stove, ballast, fans, and light fixtures. Install junction boxes and feed wires * Carpentry: repair damaged drywall and framing * Painting: touch up or full interior paint * Appliance Repair: Not a Must but experience in repair of kitchen appliances would be a plus * HVAC Repair: Not a Must but experience with hvac work would be a plus The job requires applicant to have their own transportation, preferably a van or truck. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively as you will be scheduling appointments with tenants for work order maintenance issues. * Must have a valid driver s license and reliable transportation * Have own tools to use on daily basis * No benefits at this time * Effective English communication skills * Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations at overtime rates * Must be available for night/weekend on-call duty at overtime rates * Basic knowledge of computers is required * High School Education or equivalent required * 5 years experience minimum * Clean background and work history
