Description
Cintas is currently looking for a Sewing Machine Operator to work in our Distribution Center in Chicago, IL. Cintas' Distribution Division is a network composed of distribution centers across North America that warehouse, customize and distribute products. As a Sewing Machine Operator, primary job responsibilities would include customization and alterations of garments. Additional responsibilities include inspecting garments and trim items for correct color, scripting, size and quantity; applying emblems, ID tapes, barcodes, and/or other trims as required; also sewing, cutting, and hemming garments as required.
Qualifications
Basic minimum language communication skills in speaking and understanding English
Ability to stand and/or walk around for up to 7 hours a day
Industrial sewing experience is preferred, but not required. We will consider home sewing experience
1+ years of experience operating a sewing machine preferred
Strong attention to detail
