Bartender and Server - Full-time / Part-time

Belotti Ristorante e Bottega in the charming Rockridge neighborhood in Oakland is looking for an experienced bartender and an experienced server/busserQualitifications:--Bartender:1)must have at least 3 years of bartending experience in a restaurant setting.2)must be competent at making classic cocktails, knowledge of spirits.3)must have knowledge of wine, Italian wine knowledge preferred.4)willingness to be trained on learning classic Italian wines and spirits.5)fast learner and outgoing personality. Able to provide suggestions to guests and make proper recommendations for pairing.6)clean and maintain bar area, keep stock of wine and spirits behind bar7)flexible scheduling. Able to cover shifts when needed in addition to existing shifts given.8)able to multitask and keep calm under pressure. Able to keep up with high volume and fast pace bar scene. Orientation to detail and organized.--Server/busser:1)must have at least 5 yr of experience serving at full service restaurant setting.2)able to keep pace and make sure reservations move along at proper pace. EXPECTED to bus your own tables most of the time.3)knowledge of food and wine pairing, particularly Italian variety, and able to make proper and timely recommendations to guests.4)NEED to be able to be flexible in roles. A couple of shifts as busser, a couple of shifts as server. If performing well, will increase shifts as server and given consistent night shifts.5)outgoing and friendly personality. Able to work well with others as a group and help out the team as needed. Willing to be trained in learning about food and wine.6)reliable and consistent with service and work attitude.
