Beacon Hill is excited to partner with a financial services company in downtown Chicago in hiring an Administrative Assistant to support their Human Resources department! This is a contract role for 10-12 months and starts immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Excel Super User. Mail Merges, Formulas, Pivot tables, charts & Graphs
  • Provide general administrative support in day-to-day operations
  • Assist in creating offer packets as well as decline letters
  • Provide service and support by responding to questions and requests from internal and external customers as needed via phone, email or face to face
  • Draft and maintain Human Resources documents, complex spreadsheets, generation/creation of reports and forms
  • Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, managing calendars, email inbox and preparing and gathering meeting materials
  • Coordinate, schedule and track materials for various training programs and other initiatives
  • Assist with distribution of company-wide HR/Payroll correspondence as needed
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Prepare routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, reports and labels
  • Create, maintain and manage all general files
  • Update and change benefits information for employees
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Deadline driven with a sense of urgency
