Duscany Financial Group is a portfolio of companies that is looking for a high energy Entry Level Administrative Assistant to join our Accounting Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment. Summary: This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Controller. The ideal candidate will assist in one or more functional areas within our Accounting Department and will be performing many clerical and administrative duties assigned by the Controller. Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. * Drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications. * Maintains Controller s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. * All other administrative duties requested by Controller. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor s degree * Strong technology skills required * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels * Ability to work successfully within a team as well as independently * Establish and maintain relationships interdepartmentally as well as with those outside the team * Positive and high energy * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment * Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Quickbooks.
