Job DescriptionRegional Director of Food & BeverageArcis Golf is in search of a high energy Regional Director of Food & Beverage. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with a strong background in food and beverage operational and service standards. This role will work hand in hand with the food and beverage teams at all of our clubs and properties to ensure our guests receive a World Class Experience. If you are ready to take on this exciting role and foster a culture of hospitality and excellence, then come and join our team!Scope:Direct and coordinate food and beverage activities such as delivering a quality product, maintaining established operational standards, effectively leading the team and maximizing profits. Provide support and guidance to all clubs / properties to ensure they meet their goals.Primary Responsibilities include the following: Others duties may be assigned.
  • Ensure all clubs / properties are compliant with the national programs such as Avendra, Core Beverage Program, Menu Program, Approved Product List, Beverage Cartender program.
  • Ensure all clubs / properties are following appropriate accounting procedures and meeting financials goals such as check book overview and monthly financial reviews.
  • Visit clubs / properties to ensure compliance with national programs. Visit clubs more often as needed based on performance and/or as assigned by the VP, Food & Beverage.
  • Develop training guides for Public and Private Club FOH food and beverage employees.
  • Set direction and create standards for uniforms for FOH.
  • Identify and communicate successes and best practices to improve quality and financial results at all clubs / properties.
  • Ensure food and beverage staff are providing excellent guest service. Review guest and member surveys and feedback for clubs / propertis and determine appropriate plan of action.
  • Work closely with clubs / properties who are not meeting financial targets to provide an analysis of the problem and determine a specific plan of action.
  • Act as a resource for the F&B leaders at all clubs / properties.
  • Assist with the selection of F&B leaders at all clubs / properties.
  • Responsible for selection, development and retention of talented food and beverage staff.
  • Create and execute short term and long term operational and financial plans for the food and beverage department.
  • Achieves budgeted revenues, controls cost (which include labor, food, maintenance, etc.) and maximizes profitability related to the facility operations.
  • Maintain constant communication between departments and keeps other departments informed about special programs and events.
  • Assist in creating Arcis Golf beverage book with creative drinks.
  • Create unique displays for buffets to be used by clubs.
  • Initiate / attend regular conference calls to discuss status of F&B programs.Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in a food and beverage leadership role
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
    • Experience supervising others and leading a team
    • Excellent customer skillsWorking Conditions:Will often be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.       • Since the employee in this position oversees several subordinates, a vast amount of time is spent utilizing problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities.
