ArcLight Cinemas is seeking a passionate food and beverage professional who can develop and operationalize best-in-class practices to maximize daily food and beverage business results. Developing on-site food and beverage Crew Members to accomplish financial and guest experience objectives will be an integral requirement of the role to be achieved within a work environment where Decurion s axioms, purpose and values are present.

Performance Expectations and Accountabilities:

  • Ensures that company philosophy and quality standards for food, beverage, and service are understood and adhered to by all Crew members.
    • Seeks opportunities to continually improve processes, service, and performance
    • Enforces company policies and procedures in accordance with company management operations guide and Crew member workbooks
    • Enforces safety and sanitation standards, security procedures, uniform policies, and cash handling procedures
    • Uses key result indicators and metrics to drive meaningful changes in behaviors and business results
  • Directs the hiring, training, ongoing development, and mentoring of Crew members.
    • Conducts reviews and counseling sessions of Crew members, including termination

Requirements - Education, Experience, Competencies:

  • One to two years of experience in a supervisory role in a full-service restaurant of similar concept preferred.
  • College degree in a related field, i.e., business, hospitality, tourism, or hotel and restaurant management, preferred.
  • ServSafe certification required.
  • Extensive wine, beer, and spirits knowledge a plus.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends
  • Demonstrates a proficiency in Microsoft office programs including: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience working with a best-in-class inventory management and POS systems (SAP knowledge a plus)
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.
  • (For internal promotions, minimum of six months supervisory experience preferred)

In addition to the Performance Expectations, other Essential Functions, Abilities and Physical Demands of this position that must be demonstrated include: (e.g. Ability to work in an office environment operating standard office equipment, ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant and kitchen environment, lifting up to 40 pounds.)
