SUMMARY The role of an Automotive Sales Associate is to sell automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales. Automotive Sales Associates are also responsible for providing customers with the utmost buying experience and expected to maintain an ongoing relationship with the client post sale. What We Offer: * State-of-the-art facility with the latest technology * Home to 2 of the 11 World Class Technician * Well-run Sales and Service Center with a tenured leadership team * Opportunity for internal promotion and career growth with company * Extremely competitive pay plans * 401(k) retirement plan options * Full benefits including voluntary short and long term disability, dental, health, vision, medical * Ongoing training and education including ASE and manufacturer * Access to the largest inventory selection in the area with over 800 used vehicles and 650 new vehicles to sell from * #1 selling GM dealer in the zone * 32 services bays * Friendly, upbeat and professional work environment Responsibilities * Greet and guide customer as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process * Assist the customers to find a vehicle that meets their needs by using the current inventory information * Enhance the sales process by demonstrating the vehicles features on the lot * Assist customers in the completion of their sales applications * Assist management to increase sales by inspecting the lot s vehicles daily, reporting any problems to management * Assist with sourcing, auctions and trade for our used vehicle inventory * Assist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales * Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals * Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses. Qualifications * Previous automotive sales experience is a PLUS * Must have a clean & valid driver s license * Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment * Bilingual is a PLUS, able to read, write and speak both Spanish and English proficiently * Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday * Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections * Quality customer service skills and sales track record * Strong interpersonal and communications, in-person and over the phone * Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process * Proficient in basic business math including percentages * Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs * Persistent, competitive and good work ethic * Focuses on the customer s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales Sales, Automotive, Auto Sales, Automotive Sales, Sales Representative, Sales Consultant, Sales Associate, Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Sales Rep, Sales Person, Customer Service, Retail Sales, Car Sales, New Car Sales, Teacher, Bartender, Server, Entry-level, Experienced, Experienced Sales
